The following features and enhancements are currently under development.

Database API:
* improve export and import capabilities for SQL files [DONE]
* improve database reverse engineering [DONE]
* check possibility to support full round-trip engineering for database schema [DONE]
* import of database schema to and from fabforce's DB Designer 4 (see fabforce.net) [DONE]
* import of database schema from PEAR MDB2 Schema [DONE]
* check out possibility to provide a free extension to DB Designer to support full round-trip engineering [PENDING]

Update:

Next step is to work on:

* implementation of round-trip engineering for database structures
* export database structure files to MDB2
* export database structure files to DB Designer 4

I also consider to add support for other popular programs. Suggestions are welcome.

Version 2.9.6 is nearly done and will be released soon, so the features mentioned above will be part of 2.9.7.
